2024 Season Registration Open
Our season begins April 7. We will play nine weeks, with Memorial Day weekend and Capital Pride weekend off. All skill levels are welcome. We plan to hold skills clinics in March.

About CAPS
The Chesapeake & Potomac Softball League (CAPS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to establish a friendly place for LGBTQ+ people and allies in the greater Washington/Maryland/Virginia metropolitan areas to play softball, learn and/or enhance softball skills and meet new people.
Our league offers two divisions. Our Open Division, a member of International Pride Softball (formerly NAGAAA), is made up of co-ed teams placed in divisions based on skill level. Our Women's + Division, a member of the Amateur Sports Alliance of North America (ASANA), is made up of Women's+ teams placed in two divisions of play (competitive and recreational).
In addition, CAPS is an active member of Team DC, which promotes LGBTQ+ individual and teams sports and club participation.
